Well-known actor and Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan hasn't attended the inaugural ceremony of the new capital city Amaravathi.
Goes without saying, this has led to lots of discussion among political and social circles. Also, it has generated many versions of why he did not attend the function.
Some say he missed the event as AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu did not invite him personally. While Babu flew in a special helicopter to Ramoji Rao's house and invited him, he merely called Pawan Kalyan over the phone.
Another reason they say was about seat allotment. In the past, when Pawan campaigned for Modi and Babu, all of them shared the same dais and Pawan got to sit next to Babu and Modi.
But now Modi is the prime minister and Babu is the CM. So as per protocol, Pawan will not be seated next to them. Some say this was the reason for his not attending the event.
One Pawan Kalyan fan had questioned as to why Babu did not go personally to invite Pawan Kalyan, voicing sentiments of Pawan Kalyan fans.
Well, Pawan must have been really busy with his shooting. But if someone like Pawan Kalyan skips the event, then there is bound to be gossip all over.
