Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao on Sunday asked YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy as to why the latter had failed to obstruct his father and former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy from raking up the Telangana issue to dethrone then Chief minister and Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu.
VHR reminded that it was YSR who had sowed the seeds of Telangana and not AICC president Sonia Gandhi.
“Jagan should understand this reality. He had organized Samaikya Shankaravam meeting only to show the arrogant attitude of upper castes,” he said.
He questioned Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to tell how he had given RTC buses to Jagan’s meeting when the people of the Seemandhra were suffering from heavy rains.
