Why did Jagan spare KCR?

YSR Congress party on Sunday came out with a weird explanation to the allegations made by the rival parties on sparing Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao  at its Samaikya Sankharavam meeting on Saturday.

YSR Congress party senior leader Konathala Ramakrishna said that party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy had targeted AICC president Sonia Gandhi in the Samaikya Shankaravam meeting because he thought that it was Sonia who had conceded the Telangana State and not KCR.

“That is why we didn’t target the TRS president. It is not possible for KCR to make the Centre announce Telangana decision,” he said.

Konathala said that there was no need for the YSR Congress party to enter into match fixing with the TRS.

“We don’t attach much importance to KCR’s role in the Telangana formation,” he said.

Responding to senior Congress leader J C Diwakar Reddy’s allegation that Jagan had entered into a match fixing with the Congress party, Konathala said nobody knew in which party Diwakar Reddy was continuing.

He has asked the centre to rethink on the  division decision even after seeing the success of Samaikya Shankaravam meeting. He said that their meeting was the first step against the division of the state
