Andhra Pradesh CM Chandra Babu Naidu has bought land to accommodate his future residence and TDP office near Vijayawada.
The four-acre land is en route New Auto Nagar and Enikepaadu, nearer to Poranki village.
It is being said that the land rates in the area are about Rs 3 crores per acre. Since Vijayawada will be the power centre in future, the TDP head must have made the purchase to finalise his base.
However, there is no news about when he intends to start construction of the new property.
Now, many in political circles are wondering as to why Babu bought land away from Tullur, which will be the new capital city.
Some hint that there could be other reasons behind the decision.
