If a healthy woman gives birth to a child, it is because of the TDP. If a 95 year old man dies of natural causes, there is a YSRCP conspiracy behind it. This is the official stance of the TDP on each and every issue on which they have been caught on the back foot since coming to power.
The TDP and Chandrababu Naidu are now trying to put the whole blame for the Kapunadu violence on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
“The government will not keep quiet if Pulivendula rowdies create a law and order problem in other districts,” said Chandrababu Naidu.
Ironically, the police claimed to have found prima facie evidence that antisocial elements with malicious intent from outside — from Krishna, Guntur and West Godavari districts — had played a key role in the violence.
So how does Chandrababu explain this contradiction in the views of him and the police department?
And by the way, why has there not been even a single arrest to date regarding the miscreants who burnt the fields of the farmers in the new capital region? No arrests, because you were behind it, Mr. CM?
“Why did the Congress and the YSRCP leaders fail to raise the issue of Kapus for the last 23 years?” questioned Chandrababu Naidu.
In the election campaign in 2015, YS Jagan could have easily promised Kapu reservation and farm loan waiver along the lines of Chandrababu. But he did not as he fully understood that these were not feasible in the existing situation. Naidu promised both and has failed to deliver on both counts.
The Congress and YSRCP may not have spoken about the Kapus, but they did not deceive them with false promises either.
