Chandra Babu is yet to decide the Telugu Desam Party floor leader for Telangana assembly. Though Babu had earlier announced T Krishnaiah as the CM candidate, as the party did not win in Telangana, many in the party opine that the post should be given to other senior members of the party.
Presently, there is a tie between senior TDP leaders Talasani Srinivasa Yadav and Errabelli Dayakar Rao.
Talk within TDP is that Chandra Babu Naidu might favour Errabelli Dayakar Rao if he decides to give the post to a leader from north Telangana.
However, if he decides to give it to a Hyderabad-based leader, then Talasani Srinivas Yadav will be the first priority.
In that case, Krishnaiah and Revanth Reddy will be made deputy leaders, it is being said.
