TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu is making hue and cry over the series of arrests by the police for the social media posts.
The police have arrested around half-a-dozen TDP activists for the social media posts.
Some of them were arrested in the night and some were arrested a couple of days ago.
Chandrababu Naidu had written a letter to DGP K V Rajendranath Reddy finding fault with the police and the state government for arresting the TDP activists for their posts in the social media.
But what he seems to have forgotten is that it was Chandrababu Naidu who started the arrests for the social media posts.
The first arrest was Ippala Ravindra in 2017-18 for his posts in the social media and the kind of torture that he was subjected to.
Chandrababu Naidu as chief minister also arrested YSR Congress social media activists like Rakesh Thota, Inturi Ravikiran and others.
Chandrababu Naidu and his TDP leaders must be suffering from short time memory but people in the state still remember those arrests.
Jagan Mohan Reddy government is only following what Chandrababu Naidu government did in the past.
Moreover, the YSR Congress social media activists did not spread fake information like the TDP social media activists are doing now.
