Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao on Monday alleged that somebody was there behind APNGOs Association president P Ashok Babu.
Speaking to the media in New Delhi, VH said that the Seemandhra leaders had questioned the Telangana Political JAC chairman Prof Kodandarm as who he was, but now the Telangana leaders were questioning who Ashok Babu was.
He said that Chief Minister N KIran Kumar Reddy, TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu and YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy were big leaders in Seemandhra region, but who this Ashok Babu was.
VH advised the Seemandhra leaders to think on how to win the coming elections by visiting their respective constituencies instead of trying to obstruct the division of the state.
He said that the centre had taken a decision on division of the state only after acceptance of all political parties, and it was not proper for some leaders to take U-turn after announcing the road map.
He questioned the state government as to why it was not initiating action to suppress the Seemandhra movement by filing cases against the agitators though it reached to 60 days.
