Kodandaram became a household name in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh thanks to the T-agitation.
In fact, at one point of time he became more powerful than KCR and successfully led the 42 day ‘Sakala Janula Samme’ without active participation from KCR or the TRS.
But KCR bided his time and promptly clipped Kodandaram’s wings after coming to power.
Relegated to the sidelines now, Kodandaram who was once front page material barely gets a mention in the media nowadays.
Probably in a bid to get back into the reckoning again, Kodandaram is back to doing what he knows best; spitting venom on Andhra people.
Responding to a question on whether the JAC’s are now redundant, Kodandaram said that the JAC’s will exist to fulfill the dream of a golden Telangana.
He further said that despite the creation of Telangana, the dominance of the Andhra people continues and the JAC will fight to eradicate this.
Was it not Kodandaram who along with KCR screamed their lungs out that once a separate Telangana was formed, all problems will come to an end? Three farmers on an average are committing suicide every day in Telangana.
Why does Kodandaram not speak out against KCR about this? Students’ academics are in a limbo owing to KCR’s stubbornness. Why does he not speak out against it? Instead he still keeps harping on Andhra people. Why? Because he has made a career out of it like so many others and probably a very lucrative career at that! When will these people change?
