Actress-turned-politician R K Roja has established her own brand in films, politics and even on the small screen.
While she has been successfully anchoring the comedy reality show “Jabardast” on ETV, her latest reality show on Gemini – Rachabanda – is also becoming a hit.
In Jabardast, there is nothing much for her to do except enjoying the comedy skits and giving marks to the performers as a judge. But in Rachabanda, she has a responsible role – of settling the disputes between husband and wife or among the family members, who come to the show to pour out their woes.
Since the show is similar to a couple of other shows being aired by other channels, Roja has to show some difference. That is why, she is going a step further to show her acting skills as well.
In her latest episode, Roja had to slap a person, who was ill-treating his wife. The person hailing from Warangal openly announced in the show that he had an extra marital affair with a minor girl, after fathering two children with his first wife.
When Roja tried to interrogate him with her aggressive questions, he shot back at her saying he also had the video of his sexual intercourse with the minor girl. “Who are you to question my personal life?” he asked.
An agitated Roja pounced on him and slapped him on his face. However, the other counsellors sitting there pacified her and pulled up the man. The episode is now going viral on social media sites.
Well, Roja has to prove that she is a different person altogether!
