Ramana Deekshitulu went and met YS Jagan. This clearly exposes the nexus between the BJP and YSRCP and how they are using Deekshitulu as a pawn to take over control of TTD, is what the yellow media is claiming.
If Ramana Deekshitulu had met YS Jagan in the capacity of head priest of TTD, then meeting the Leader of Opposition would be wrong. But Deekshitulu has been forcibly retired and the man wants to continue in the post.
Therefore, he is meeting people with clout who can perhaps reinstate him if they come to power and continue with the old traditions.
Deekshitulu also started making allegations against the TTD Board and TDP after he was removed. Had he made these allegations when in office, he would have earned the respect of everyone. Now, it appears as a personal vendetta.
There is no point in blaming the Opposition parties for no party would lose the opportunity to put the government in the dock. Some people opine that Deekshitulu should have approached the judiciary instead of YS Jagan or Amit Shah.
The Courts only interpret the constitution, they do not frame rules. Since TTD changed the rules to remove the priest, he will lose the case in court.
While TDP, Jagan, BJP and Deekshitulu may be pursuing their own agendas, the most important point of all is this: It’s not whether Deekshitulu is making the allegations out of anger but whether there is any truth to these allegations.
If the government instead of crying about a political conspiracy simply orders for an inquiry, the whole truth will come out and if the TDP is found to be innocent, the respect for the party will increase.
That is what Chandrababu Naidu should do as he is accountable to the devotees and people of the State.
