Chandrababu Naidu had promised reservations to Kapu community in the last elections but could not deliver on it. YS Jagan has spoken frankly and said that the Constitution does not permit the reservation quota to go beyond 50 percent.
Either YS Jagan or Chandrababu Naidu is going to become the Chief Minister in 2019 irrespective of who the Kapu community votes for.
Against this backdrop, what will Mudragada Padmanabham’s next line of action be?
A person who has dedicated his life for Kapu reservation, Mudragada has only one option left: Jana Sena. But, if Pawan Kalyan announces reservations for Kapus, no other community will vote for him due to insecurity.
Therefore, if Pawan Kalyan has the right advisors around him, he will speak about a committee or something but not take a definite stand.
Is this then, the end of the road for Mudragada’s dream, at least until 2024?
