CPM Politburo member and Rajya Sabha MP Sitaram Yechuri said that state governments should pay the compensations to the land owners according land act passed by Central Government.
He said that there is no need to take the land from poor and give it to the foreign companies under the name of development.
Mr Yechuri reminded that many states in India were developed by our own architect's intelligence.
Sitaram Yechuri told that he is not able to understand why Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu is ignoring the new act passed by the central government at the time of acquiring lands from the farmers.
He questioned Chandra Babu Naidu about the loan waiver promise made to the people before 2014 general elections.
