Plaudits are ringing in for Galla Jaydev and Rammohan Naidu from Chandrababu Naidu and other TDP leaders for the way they spoke in Parliament.
Media loyal to the TDP is projecting it as a pyrrhic victory against the BJP which isn’t the case.
The BJP laughingly sailed through the no-confidence motion as did the Congress which utilized the opportunity to earn some branding for Rahul Gandhi.
But the TDP media is also claiming that it has created history by calling for a no-confidence motion for the first time in 15 years. This is indeed rather strange!
What was the point in calling the no-confidence motion? Was it to enter the Guinness and Limca Book of Records or to achieve something tangible for Andhra Pradesh?
The TDP can really congratulate itself if something tangible comes out of the whole exercise to the benefit of Andhra Pradesh. Exposing the BJP in Parliament to retain power in Andhra Pradesh is the real objective.
Will the people of Andhra Pradesh see through their tricks which are being repeated ad nauseam?
