TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu is not seen out of Hyderabad these days. While his son, Nara Lokesh, is visiting places, the father remained indoors for many weeks till now.
However, sources say that Chandrababu Naidu is holding consultations with the party senior leaders and the leaders of various other parties.
The consultations are to finalise the party’s strategy to be followed for the 2024 general elections, where Naidu wants to wrest the power in AP by any means.
According to sources, Chandrababu Naidu is holding consultations with some of the senior leaders of his party and those in other parties.
He is also meeting some top leaders of the Congress and the Communist parties, besides the BJP, where his own loyalists are now sheltered.
Chandrababu Naidu is looking at the possibilities of going with the Congress and Communists together or the BJP, as he did in the past.
While he did not get any clue whether the BJP would welcome him and accept his alliance, he had strong feelers from the Congress and the Communists for alliance.
The TDP chief is also holding consultations with the Jana Sena top leaders on having tie-up for the 2024 general elections.
As the Jana Sena is already in alliance with the BJP, Chandrababu Naidu wants the Jana Sena to convince the BJP leadership for the electoral partnership with the TDP.
However, it is to be seen, with which party and combination of parties that Naidu would go for the 2024 elections to wrest the power.
