It is nearly 35 days now since the highly controversial ‘Comprehensive Household Survey’ was taken up by the TRS Government.
To date, there has been no word on its findings or a booklet on the results of the survey.
Intoxicated with power, KCR initially commissioned the survey only to get a database of Seemandhra people in Hyderabad and Telangana and make them go back by making their lives miserable.
Highly objectionable questions were initially included in the questionnaires. Also, participation in the survey was made mandatory.
Thankfully, the High Court stepped in and said that the survey was not constitutionally valid and also expressed its doubts about the intentions behind the survey. This forced KCR to include the whole state in the survey, defeating the very objective of the survey.
Nevertheless, in a survey that turned out to be an utter failure, KCR beat his chest claiming complete victory in its execution. That 35 days into the survey, nothing is being spoken about it is a clear indication that it is the biggest flop of KCR’s initiatives.
