The recent meeting of former Lok Sabha member from Vijayawada Lagadapati Rajagopal with Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has led to wild speculations.
A section of social media has speculated that the 60-page report submitted by Lagadapati to Naidu gave some positive signals to the TDP in the coming elections, stating that Naidu has the chances of returning to power in Andhra Pradesh for the second time, provided he takes certain measures to tighten the grip over the party.
It is also reported that the TDP would get majority of seats in coastal Andhra and do much better than expected in Rayalaseema.
While it will be disappointment for Jagan again, the Jana Sena Party would not get even the double digit figure in the assembly.
However, another report doing rounds in another section of social media, quoting Lagadapati survey, says the TDP will end up with 66 seats whereas YSRC will come to power by winning 103 seats.
Power star Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party will get just six seats and the BJP will draw a blank.
The district-wise break-up of the survey results, as speculated by the report are as follows:
Srikakulam (10): TDP-4, YSRC -6
