The TRS Cabinet on Friday approved the allotment of land to political parties at a cost of Rs 100 per square yard in district headquarters. Yes, that’s right!
Rs 100 per square yard and what’s more, these lands need not pay property taxes either.
Is there any property in any remote corner of the remotest village in Telangana where one can get a square yard for Rs 100?
When these political parties are filthy rich, why then do they need concessions? And why exemptions from property tax?
Taxing taxes from the people and giving yourself tax-free buildings? Oh, what a rip off KCR!
