The World Bank has mentioned that Andhra Pradesh ranks second in the list of Indian states that have feasible infrastructure and other basic amenities.
While it is not surprising to see Gujarat top the list, as it is Prime Minister Modi's state, AP's name comes as a surprise as the state does not have neither a full-fledged international airport nor proper highways.
Honestly, all credit for this goes to Chandra Babu as all policies implemented during his past tenure were in keeping with the guidelines of the World Bank.
At the time, they secured crores of rupees as loan from World Bank. His son Lokesh too worked with the World Bank for a brief period. So it is not surprising to see AP in second position.
On the other hand, Telangana ranks 12th in the list and once again, it does not come as a surprise as KCR is in no need of any ratification from the World Bank.
