Weird: No Rainfall Attributed To Babu's Swearing In Time

The monsoon which hits Andhra Pradesh in the first week of June hasn’t come yet. There is growing concern among people as the delay would mean problems to farmers and water issues later. Instead of worrying about global warming, some prominent people are trying to further scare the people by linking the delay in rainfall to the wrong timing of Chandra Babu being sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

One such man is Visakha Sarada Peetadhipathi Sriswaroopa Nandendra Saraswati who says that no rainfall is the direct consequence of wrong timing chosen for Babu’s swearing in.

The Peetadhipati also pointed out that a similar situation had arisen when Chandra Babu was the CM in the past.

He also blamed the timing for the various disasters and calamities that are affecting the people of Andhra Pradesh ever since Babu became the CM. It was not right to hold the swearing in ceremony after the sunset, he reveals. Swaroopananda said similar problems had arisen when Chandra Babu was sworn in after sunset earlier.

Meanwhile, another story had emerged in media that CPM leader BV Raghavulu had confided to close aides that there was strong feeling among people that whenever Babu comes to power, there would be drought in the state.

Unfortunately, it is not right to spread such superstitions among people. Sadly, it is often the educated and the powerful people who strongly believe in such superstitions and contribute to such beliefs trickling down to the masses.

We hope rational people would see through such false campaigns and make objective decisions.
