Former minister and Telugu Desam Party MLA Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu on Monday warned that they would create an earthquake in New Delhi if the Bill was taken by Parliament to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh.
Muddu said the objectives and financial memorandum were not attached to Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Bill, which was sent to the State.
Moreover, the Home Secretary made it clear that it was only a draft Bill and no need to attach objectives and financial memorandum to it.
He criticized Union Minister Jairam Ramesh, who was also member of Group of Ministers, for saying that the A P Reorganization Bill would be placed in Parliament on February 14 and the same will be passed on February 15.
Muddu questioned as to why the Congress was keen on only bifurcating Andhra Pradesh.
“We would turn New Delhi as battle field and hound out AICC president Sonia Gandhi to Italy if the Centre went ahead with bifurcation of the State,” he warned.
