The CID officials are conducting searches in the Margadarsi offices to collect evidence of financial fraud committed by Margadarsi.

There is enough evidence to prove the financial irregularities committed by Ramoji Rao through Margadarsi Chit Funds Private Limited.

Cases are pending in the Supreme Court and Telangana High Court regarding the financial irregularities of Margadarsi Chits.

Ramoji Rao and his daughter-in-law were questioned by the CID on the irregularities and are getting ready to be questioned again.

In this background, Ramoji Rao is allocating one page in the Eenadu daily paper to cater to those who condemn the police raids on Margadarsi.

Referring to this, former MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar, who launched the legal battle against Margadarsi a decade ago, said that anyone who spoke for Ramoji Rao was getting undue coverage in the Eenadu daily and Etv.

“If you want instant publicity in AP, just speak for Ramoji Rao and condemn the police raids on Margadarsi. If you want more publicity, criticize Vundavalli Arun Kumar,” the former MP said in a meeting in Vijayawada, sending peals of laughter among the audience.
