YSR Congress party honorary president Y S Vijayalakshmi is extremely confident that the State would not be bifurcated at any cost.
Speaking to media after meeting the people affected by the heavy rains at Nelakondapalli in Khammam district, Vijayamma said the State would not be divided at any cost.
“Our party has never changed its decision on the bifurcation. All that we have been demanding is that there should be equal justice to all the three regions and that is why the party is in support of Samikyandhra. Late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy’s desire was also development all the regions,” she said adding that the party had urged then Centre to act as a father on the issue of division of the State.
She appealed to the Telangana supporters not to create nuisance as she has come here to meet the victims of the flood and heavy rains.
Criticizing Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, she said the former was not serious in helping the rain-affected victims.
