Senior Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader D Shravan on Tuesday lambasted the Congress leaders for taking out victory and thanks giving rallies while the Congress high command was conspiring in Delhi to announce Rayala Telangana State.
Shravan was speaking after garlanding the statue of Srikantha Chary, who made supreme sacrifice for the cause of Telangana, on the occasion of his fourth death anniversary at Gadiyaram junction in Nalgonda town.
He reiterated that the people of Telangana would accept only Telangana State with its ten districts and Hyderabad as its capital.
Meanwhile, Telangana Political Joint Action Committee chairman Prof M Kodandaram on Tuesday demanded that the Centre should form Telangana with 10 districts with Hyderabad as its capital.
Participating in a dharna at Rajghat in New Delhi, Kodandaram said the talk about Rayala Telangana was aimed at sabotaging the process of Telangana formation.
He said that it was responsibility of Congress leaders from Telangana region to get Telangana State, in its original form.
