It was surely one of the most memorable moments of Venkayya Naidu’s life when Rajeev Shukla, Congress MP gave him a certificate that, “Venkayya Naidu is the best Parliamentary Affairs Minister!”
The occasion was the lavish Party thrown by Venkayya Naidu commemorating the 'Makara Sankranthi' festival, in Delhi.
Modi himself took time off from his busy schedule to attend this event although he left early.
With Modi in attendance, the entire power house of Delhi politics were seen at the event. But what prompted Rajeev Shukla to compliment Venkayya was that the latter had managed to get even Congressmen and other party people to attend the function.
Nobody knows whether Venkayya will go down in history as a capable and honest Minister, but this is truly one compliment that he will cherish and quite possibly the last time that someone will pay him such a compliment.
