Venkaiah Naidu does not dream a lot, especially when it comes to people’s welfare, but other than that he does have the odd dream or two like everyone else.
In his own words: “I do not dream a lot. But whatever I dream about comes true. When I was pasting wall posters of Vajpayee, I dreamt that Vajpayee would become the Prime Minister. He in fact became the Prime Minister and I also served as a Minister under him. I had a dream that the BJP would get a full majority at the Center. That has come true now. I had a dream that we would get a full majority in Maharashtra and that has also come true. Recently, I have been getting dreams of a BJP victory in West Bengal.”
So, naturally Venkaiah Naidu was quizzed on when he would be getting a dream of victory in Andhra Pradesh. Venkaiah Naidu retorted that there was still time for that dream.
One question that comes to mind is, "Does Venkayya not get any dreams before his Party loses the polls or is it only positive dreams on the eve of a guaranteed victory?"
Anyways, for Venkaiah Naidu’s sake, let us hope that there is no one in the ‘Opposition’ with a similar gifted faculty and who is currently having dreams of Venkaiah being sacked from his post by Modi!
