If reports doing rounds in the social media circles are to be believed, former Congress minister Vatti Vasantha Kumar and former MP C Ramachandraiah are contemplating joining the Jana Sena Party headed by power star Pawan Kalyan.
In fact, there is a talk that both the leaders had already made up their mind to join Jana Sena, as they were aware they had no political future if they continued in the Congress party.
Added to that, they were not happy with the party entering into an alliance with the Telugu Desam Party in Telangana.
The meeting of TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu with Rahul Gandhi on Thursday came as a last straw for them in the Congress.
Interestingly, both Vatti and Ramachandraiah belong to the Kapu and its affiliated Balija community respectively and so, their natural political destination would be Jana Sena.
While Vatti hails from Kapu-dominated Vunguturu constituency in West Godavari district, Ramachandraiah hails from Kadapa, which also has considerable Balija community voters.
Of the two, Ramachandraiah had close affinity with Pawan Kalyan, as the former was an important leader in Praja Rajyam Party founded by Pawan’s brother and megastar Chiranjeevi.
His entry into Jana Sena therefore does not evoke any surprise and definitely he would be a big intellectual strength for Pawan.
In fact, Pawan needs the support of senior leaders and with the entry of leaders like Nadendla Manohar, Mutha Gopalakrishna, Thota Chandrasekhar, Vatti Vasanth Kumar and C Ramachandraiah, the party will definitely get strengthened!
