Politics and caste go hand in hand and it must be said that many electoral battles in India are decided on the same basis.
Now, it is heard that when the BCs were having a meeting at Nizam College ground, the arrival of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu created a flutter among those who were present.
The likes of V Hanumantha Rao, Anjan Kumar walked out protesting Naidu who is an upper caste leader should not be allowed.
In a way, their protest is justified but what many didn’t understand why VH didn’t feel the same about BJP leader Kishan Reddy who was also onstage.
Whether it had to do with the caste or the personal rivalries, the fact that VH and Anjan staged a walkout holds a good reason. Caste driven meetings are usually meant to have people belonging to their community. This is something the BCs leader R Krishnaiah should have borne in mind while organizing such meets.
