One significant difference between the Modi government and the previous administration is that the current dispensation is extremely tech-savvy.
In fact, Modi made excellent use of the various digital media to reach out effectively to the youth in the country.
He has also given instructions for all the Ministries to be at the forefront in using technology and embracing change to reach out directly to the public.
Against such a backdrop, it is interesting to see that the newly carved State of Telangana does not even figure in the Union Ministry’s website. Though it is nearly four months now since Telangana was accorded the status of a separate ‘State’, the map of India on the website does not include Telangana.
The list contains the names of all the states and even the union territories except for Telangana. A search on ‘Telangana’ on the website includes no results.
Is this an oversight or intentional? But KCR would probably be the wrong person to raise this issue for if he ends up calling Modi a ‘sannasi’ or by some other choicer epithet, chances are he himself would find his name missing among the list of ‘Chief Ministers’ of India.
