How can a person who deserts his army when it needs him the most be called a leader?
Rahul Gandhi chose to absent himself from the Parliament at the beginning of the budget session. It would have been an excellent opportunity to corner Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his team. His absence took the fight out of Congress and made it an object of ridicule.
Now when summons have been issued to Manmohan Singh in the coal scam, he has decided to extend his absence from March 10 to the end of the month.
If ever Rahul had a golden opportunity, it is now when he should have come back and sprung to the defence of Manmohan who was his Party’s and the nation’s Prime Minister for nine years.
By letting go of this opportunity as well and not coming to the rescue of his Partymen in trouble, he has comprehensively proved once and for all that he is unfit to lead this nation.
