Unbecoming Of A CM

Unbecoming Of A CM

With all due respect, one can hardly resist the impulse to slap the Honorable Chief Minister of AP, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, after listening to his remarks in the AP Assembly.

YS Jagan accused the government of nepotism in awarding the fiber grid project worth Rs 333 crore to ‘Tera Software Limited’, a company owned by a Kamma person called Vemuri Hari Prasad.

Jagan questioned the government as to how the project could be awarded to a company that was blacklisted for its failure in providing E-POS machines at fair price shops.

Jagan also pointed out the fact that Hari Prasad was also a member of the ‘Tender Evaluation Committee’ which awarded the contract to ‘Tera Software’.

Can there be a bigger conflict of interest than this? Jagan also accused Tera Software of close relations with the ‘Heritage Group’.

To this, Chandrababu Naidu’s response was, “Stealing and corrupt practices are your habits. You were behind the bars for resorting to such practices, not Hari Prasad.”

First of all, the charges against YS Jagan are yet to be proved. But here is the CM slandering in the Assembly and resorting to personal attacks when his corruption is exposed. Very unbecoming of a CM!
