Hyderabad: Serilingampally MLA Arikepudi Gandhi and Jubilee Hills MLA Gopinath are also set to join the TRS soon.
The official announcement may happen in a couple of days. Although the TRS does not need their support, it is not averse to taking them as part of its agenda to wipe out the TDP completely from Telangana.
In the recent GHMC elections, all the corporators in their constituencies were elected on a TRS ticket making it difficult for Gandhi and Gopinath.
Once they join the TRS, there will be only two MLA’s left in the TDP: Revanth Reddy and Sandru Venkata Veerayya.
R Krishnayya is also there but he is completely detached from the TDP for some time now.
