If politics is the art of never taking a definite stance on an issue then Chandrababu Naidu is a master at it.
In Andhra Pradesh, he says that he was against bifurcation and in Telangana; he says that he supported bifurcation by issuing a letter in support of it.
He says that the TRS resorted to phone tapping in Hydrabad, but in an interview to a national channel, he allegedly said that it was not his phone that was tapped directly but that of an aide. And his coming to power itself is an outcome of doublespeak.
Saying that NTR’s behavior was becoming detrimental to the interests of the Party, he had him unseated. Yet, he continues in power by displaying the photo of NTR. And that has been a characteristic feature of his political career all along.
