Capital Selection Committee Chairman Sivaramakrishnan informed that their team is considering two capitals for Andhra Pradesh.
He said that it will take 30 to 100 years for a capital city to develop and that is the reason why they have come up with two capital cities plan.
Lot of speculations are being made about the capital city and the real estate rates are sky high in Guntur and Vijayawada at the moment.
Not only these places, but the land rates have increased in many parts of Andhra Pradesh.
This committee also said that they will be coming up with new projects to make sure that Rayalaseema regions doesn't have any water problem.
Already leaders from Rayalaseema are demanding that Andhra Pradesh capital city should be picked from their region.
Just to make sure that people of both regions are happy, center might have come up with this two capitals plan for Andhra Pradesh.
