There has been ongoing speculation for some time that TV5 head B R Naidu was being considered for the TTD chairman position, but the focus has now shifted. It appears that Ashok Gajapati Raju may assume the role very soon.
Initially, the position was offered to Ashok Gajapati Raju, but he declined, citing his age as a reason for being unable to take on such a responsibility.
However, key members of the Raju community and the TDP have since persuaded him that he is the most suitable candidate for the role due to his clean image.
Additionally, his deep devotion to the Lord has led many, regardless of party affiliations, to believe he is the ideal person for the position.
Since he didn’t accept the offer initially, Chandrababu Naidu had to consider other candidates. But now that Ashok Gajapati Raju seems to have reconsidered, it looks like Naidu has set aside other options in favor of Raju for the role.
We will have to wait for the official announcement to see what will ultimately unfold.
