Ex union minister and ex Rajya Sabha member T Subbirami Reddy is trying his best to attract the youth. One of his key strategies is to entice them with cricket.
Towards this end, he flies in Bollywood and Tollywood actors to participate in these matches, so that they can attract youth.
Speaking on the occasion, Subbirami Reddy said that the Vizag youth loved cricket and that was the reason why he flew in top ranking actors from Bollywood.
Presently, Vizag is being represented by union minister Purandareshwari. It is a known fact that Subbirami Reddy was elected from Vizag in the past.
Now, he is insisting that he wants the seat back. So, as a part of this drive, he has taken up various activities in Vizag and is pumping in a lot of money.
Earlier, when he contested from Vizag, he distributed cricket kits to kids in each village and town. This time around, he has gone a step ahead and initiated a cup after his name.
State minister from Vizag Ganta Srinivasa Rao, minister Killi Krupa Rani from Srikakulam and various other leaders from Vizag participated in the event organized by Reddy.
However, Purandareswari was conspicuous by her absence. It is a known fact that Subbirami Reddy and the minister do not see eye to eye. Hence, it could be that both the parties tried to avoid each other.
As for Subbirami Reddy, he has been investing a lot of funds and energy in Vizag!
