Bengaluru: Embattled Karnataka education minister Tanveer Sait was reportedly surfing revealing photographs of Melania, a former model and the third wife of US President-elect Donald Trump, on his cellphone at a Tipu Jayanti event in Raichur on November 10.
Opposition parties led by BJP have been going for the minister's jugular after he was caught watching sleazy images on his cellphone. The minister, in his defence, said he was following reports of Tipu Jayanti in Mysuru.
Senior police officers who sourced the video footage of Sait at the event said: “The photographs the minister was allegedly watching were of Melania Trump. Her pictures taken more than 15 years ago gained new traction in the run-up to the US presidential election and after Trump's shock victory last week."
