Hyderabad: The ruling TRS in Telangana which is on a mission to eliminate all Opposition parties in state before 2019 general elections, is now wielding 'operation akarsh' weapon on city BJP MLAs.
While Opposition MLAs from Congress, TDP and YSRCP have joined in TRS, there is not a single MLA from BJP who defected to TRS so far.
TRS party leadership is now trying to fill this gap by admitting three city BJP MLAs into TRS.
TRS party leaders are already in touch with BJP Uppal MLA NVSS Prabhakar, BJP Khairatabad MLA Chintala Ramachandra Reddy and BJP Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh.
Raja Singh already raised a banner of revolt against BJP just before GHMC elections and staying away from BJP activities since then demanding action against TBJP president G Kishan Reddy for working against the interests of party.
The other two BJP MLAs are worried about their political future after both failed to secure a win even in one of the municipal divisions in recent GHMC elections in their respective constituencies despite being MLAs as all divisions were swept by TRS.
These three MLAs are planning to join TRS, if KCR promises MLA tickets for them from the same constituencies in 2019 elections.
