Congress Party in-charge for Telangana RC Kuntia said the TRS was not a political party but a Velama company.
“All the plum positions have been given to Velamas. How can you call this a political party? This is just a company run by Velamas,” said Kuntia.
He was responding to the allegations made by Danam Nagender that there was only one community that was getting prominence in the Congress and that BCs were being sidelined.
“If you look at the history of the Congress Party in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, there have been so many BCs who worked as PCC Presidents. His allegation is absurd,” said Kuntia.
Ironically, KTR responded to a similar allegation by Digvijay Singh last year who said TRS was a ‘family rule’.
“The Gandhi family runs the Congress. It is ironic that they are terming our administration as a ‘family rule’,” said KTR. Since one cannot attach heredity to the BJP, the Sangh Parivar is targeted.
As one can see, it’s all in the game.
