The TRS government in the Telangana State is like a “water bubble”, which may burst at any time.
This was the view expressed by former MLA and senior Congress leader Gandra Venkataramana Reddy on Monday.
He said the TRS supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao (KCR) had backtracked on all his poll promises.
“As a part of his strategy, KCR has been giving different versions and deliberately confusing the people on his poll promises,” he said.
He demanded that the Chief Minister clarify whether his government would implement crop loan waiver or not. The government should also make an announcement on issuance of crop loans to the farmers for kharif season, he added.
Pointing out that KCR, who assured pensions to all eligible people, was now planning to scrap five lakh ration cards on pretext of bogus ones.
Reminding KCR’s announcement of two-bed houses to poor, the Congress leader said now KCR was saying that the houses sanctioned by previous Congress government were more than the number of poor people.
“Is it not an indication that the TRS government would not sanction new houses for the shelterless?”, he asked.
