Tollywood's hopes of a glittering July was dashed in the first week itself with the release of Gopichand’s Pantham and Sai Dharam Tej’s Tej… I Love You.
While Tej turned out to be another Intelligent for Sai Dharam, Gopichand’s Pantham despite decent openings turned out to be another flop in the action hero’s career.
The disappointing run of these two films ensured further theatrical time for Tharun Bhascker’s Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi. Although it appealed to some sections, this film also in terms of trade is a loss for buyers.
Vijetha and RX 100 released this week. The biggest plus point for Vijetha is the hero is the son-in-law of Chiranjeevi but the film failed to get minimum openings anywhere and could not be a Vijetha at the box-office.
But RX 100 has opened to house full collections mainly because of the sexually explicit scenes promoted by the makers ala Arjun Reddy.
