He is certainly one of the A-list directors in Tollywood now. Having directed films like Aadi, Chennakesava Reddy, Dil, Tagore, Bunny, Lakshmi, Adhurs and Naayak, director VV Vinayak holds a special place and caters to different sections of audience.
While he is still active in film-making business and has projects lined up, there are speculations over Vinayak's political entry for sometime, and especially ever since actor Chrinajeevi floated PRP.
Reacting on rumours, Vinayak set the record straight. "I've been associated with politics as all the members of my family share great bond with political parties and its leaders. So, I can't see politics and my life separately. But joining politics is not in my mind at the moment. I may join politics in my near future."
So, after director Dasari Narayana Rao, VV Vinayak is the one who is going to join to politics in Tollywood. Also, there are few rumours about his peers Puri Jagannadh and SS Rajamouli over their political foray. While Puri has connections with YS Jagan and his party YSR Congress, Rajamouli is a staunch follower and supporter of Dr Jayaprakash Narayan, and ideology of Loksatta Party.
Meanwhile, VV Vinayak turns a year older on Wednesday as he was born on the same day 39 years ago in Chagallu of West Godavari.
