Yesteryear top heroine-turned-politician Roja has alleged that there is a threat to her life from none other than her own brother Y Ram Prasad Reddy and his manager Prasad Raju.
RK Roja has lodged a complaint against her brother Ram Prasad and his manager Prasad Raju on Friday in Rayadurgam police station alleging that the duo are "torturing" her for money.
Roja has also alleged that her brother Ram Prasad has "looted" all her savings and earnings which she has made in her 22-year-old film career.
Roja apparently shed tears in front of cops and asked them to take action against the duo.
Roja said that her brother is now in "some financial trouble" and hence "demanding" her to "bail out".
She accused that her brother Ram Prasad and Prasad Raju are "blackmailing" her that they will "propagate negative things about her if she doesn't help them".
She also said police that the accused has gatecrashed into her house in Panchavati colony on Thursday and "threatened" her of killing if she doesn't give them money.
Police have booked Ram Prasad Reddy and Prasad Raju under various sections of harassment, blackmailing, gatecrashing and threatening to kill a lady and investigation is going on.
According to cops, Roja has filed a complaint bearing Cr.no 563/2013, under Sections 448 and 506. Inspector of police K Vijayvardhan is investigating the case.
This is really another dark side of celebrities and their lives where their own family members turning into villains. Hope Roja will soon overcome this trauma.
