D Srinivas, former Congressman jumped to the TRS and was rewarded with a MP berth in Rajya Sabha. However, the former PCC chief is rarely seen getting up to speak about any matters related to Telangana.
The gossip in political circles is that D Srinivas is a bit embarrassed about getting up and speaking in front of the Congress party and especially whenever he comes across Sonia Gandhi.
He was given a lot of respect in the Congress party and enjoyed various perks and privileges in that party. So, deserting the Congress for a post in the TRS after so many years has portrayed him in a poor light. His guilty conscience is making him tongue-tied in Parliament.
