Ever since Pawan Kalyan assumed a ministerial role in Andhra Pradesh, there has been constant buzz about him being the Deputy Chief Minister.
The Jana Sena social media and party members repeatedly emphasize this title, never referring to him simply as a minister.
Daily photos, videos, meetings, and reviews followed his appointment.
For three or four consecutive days, he held meetings and made a busy trip to Pithapuram, reminiscent of pre-election rallies and public ceremonies.
But now, there is only silence... silence... silence.
Recently, Pawan's close associate Trivikram visited Vijayawada. Following that, Pawan, sporting an ultra-modern look, was seen at the airport with his wife.
Since then, there has been no news of Pawan’s whereabouts or activities. It is unclear who is managing the three crucial ministries under his charge.
The state is experiencing rains, and it’s the farming season. Ensuring village conditions are up to standard is his responsibility.
Maintaining sanitation and reviewing the condition of village roads falls under his ministry. Regular review meetings and directing officials are essential duties.
Chandrababu Naidu has appointed a key official, known for his admiration of the TDP, to assist Pawan and handle these responsibilities on his behalf.
This arrangement seems to be aimed at easing Pawan’s workload, with the official managing the departments while Pawan holds the title of Deputy Chief Minister.
However, as Deputy Chief Minister, shouldn't Pawan address the party's stance on the Vinukonda murder? No party official has commented on it.
Did they think it was a YSRCP-TDP conflict and not their concern?
As Deputy CM, second only to the Chief Minister, he holds significant responsibility for state governance. He should express his views. So, where is he?
Politically, this silence may not be advantageous for Pawan. He needs to strategize carefully.
