The moment one hears the name Kejriwal a picture of the common man fighting against the corrupt system comes into mind.
Whether Kejriwal is genuinely successful in doing that or not, his name has become an identity for that. So now, some are calling one politician in Andhra as Telugu Kejriwal.
His name is Palem Srikanth Reddy and recently he came out of TDP.
Srikanth has set up a party called Jana Palana Party and as the title of his party indicates, his agenda is to make this society corruption free. Sources say Srikanth strongly believes vote on note is the root cause for the corruption.
It is also heard that Srikanth has cast his attention on the unauthorized banners used by several political parties. Buzz is that each year, the parties spend nearly Rs 250 crores on campaign and publicity. That way, for 5 years the amount touches 1000 crores which can be streamlined for something more productive.
We have to wait and see how much change this Telugu Kejriwal can actually bring in.
