In what can be called as an unexpected and unprecedented move, the Congress led UPA government dropped a bomb yesterday by bringing in the cabinet note on Telangana and approving it hurriedly.
This has triggered a lot of analysis and debates and here is one such talk happening among political experts.
This is about the issue of Telangana and Vidarbha. In the case of Vidarbha, the bill for separate state got passed in assembly and was sent to parliament but it got stuck from a long time.
Till now, there is no news about separate Vidarbha state. But in the case of Telangana, the scene is reverse.
Without any connection to assembly they have passed the cabinet note and are expected to send it to president. But president will send it to assembly. However, irrespective of passing or not it in the assembly, the bill will go to parliament. That way, the stages are many for Telangana to become a reality and anything can happen. For Vidarbha it stopped there, for Telangana where it will stop?
