The entire Telangana will shut down for the comprehensive household survey to be conducted by the T government on August 19.
The entire official machinery is taking all precautionary measures to make sure that there are no official engagements on that day.
The RTC buses will not ply on the day and schools will be shut down all over the state. Similarly, it will be a bank holiday and no business establishments will be open.
There are nearly 650 petrol bunks all over Telangana and there are nearly 350 petrol bunks in Hyderabad and Rangareddy districts. All of them will be shut down on the D-day.
The Telangana government considers the survey as a prestigious issue and has already declared a holiday for the entire state.
They have also announced that everyone must stay home on that day and provide the necessary details.
However, emergency services will function that day. On the other hand, the RTC buses will ply for the enumerators.
In all, it can be said that the T government is leaving no stone unturned to make the survey a grand success.
