After a lot of defections and hours of debate, the inevitable has finally happened. At least that’s what one gets to conclude from the happenings between Telangana TDP and TRS.
Legislative council members Saleem, Balasani Lakshmi Narayana, Venkateswarlu, Gangadhar Goud had announced that they now belong to Telangana TDP and stated that they will merge T TDP with TRS, in the past.
Following the announcement, they now passed a resolution to this affect and declared that the Council chairman Swamy Goud had ratified their decision.
With this move, all defecting TDP MLAs became a part of the ruling TRS party. Right now, TDP has only two MLAs in Arikela Narsa Reddy and Potle in the Council.
While they continue to be part of T TDP, the remaining five members have jumped into TRS. Indeed, strange are the ways of present crop of politicians.
