Telangana Secretariat Staff On Roads?

Telangana Secretariat Staff On Roads?

If Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has his way, the secretariat staff would have to be on roads working from various buildings for at least another two years.

Apparently, the Chief Minister is learnt to have instructed the officials to demolish the existing Secretariat and construct an entirely new building complex with better facilities and modern equipment for the staff. The design and architecture has been entrusted to noted architect Hafeez Contractor.

Till the new Secretariat comes up, the Chief Minister is learnt to have asked the staff to adjust themselves in the existing official buildings outside the Secretariat or if necessary, hire some other buildings.

KCR is of the view that the Andhra Pradesh government would more or less vacate the entire Secretariat in a couple of months and the entire premises comes to the Telangana. So, there is a huge potential for expanding the existing Secretariat as per Vaasthu, say sources.
